After suffering a massive defeat to Japan, the head coach of the Shepolopolo of Zambia Bruce Mwape has revealed why they lost the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The debutant suffered a massive 5-0 defeat to the Asian giants in the early hours of Saturday.

While speaking after the game, the coach said they lacked tactical discipline in the game.

"Japan is an experienced team. But it’s not an excuse for our loss to them.

" We have played far more experienced teams in the past and held our own, there was a lack of tactical discipline from us.”

“It’s a thing of pride for me to be the first Zambian coach to lead a national team to the senior FIFA World Cup. I have been coaching for 30 years, but have been involved in women’s football for six years.

“For me, it is important that we leave a mark on this competition", he said.
