The opening game of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, between Rangers International and El-Kanemi Warriors ended in a stalemate, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The encounter which was decided at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu failed to provide goals to herald the new campaign. The defending champions, who have not conceded in their last 9 home league meetings against El-Kanemi Warriors prior to the fixture were matched by a resilient side. Other fixtures for Week 1 will take centre stage in the first weekend of September across different centres.
