2024 CHAN Qualifier: Nigeria, Ghana Renew Fierce Rivalry

Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles B team has been handed a tough opponent in the qualifier of the 2024 Championship of African Nations qualifier, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The draws which was conducted on Wednesday witnessed Nigeria facing their rival Ghana in the second round of the qualifier.

It was Ghana who ended the hopes of the Nigerian Home-based Eagles from playing in the last edition of competition.

After an away draw in Kumasi, Ghana defeated Nigeria at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja via penalty shootout.

For the 2024 qualifier, Ghana will host the first leg before traveling to Nigeria for the second leg.

The date for the crucial first leg is December 20-22nd with the reverse fixture taking place a week later in Nigeria.
