2024 FIFA World Cup: Flamingos Thrash Central African Republic In Douala

FIFA World Cup bronze-medallists, Nigeria, began their quest for a place in this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup with a 6-0 thrashing of their counterparts from Central African Republic, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The tie which is the Second Round, first leg encounter decided in the Cameroonian city of Douala, witnessed goals galore from the Flamingos. 

The Flamingos go into the return leg with a six-goal advantage following a hat-trick by Abidemi Moshood and a brace from Etime Edidiong while Prisca Nwachukwu also on the scoresheet. 

The second leg will take place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 10th February 2024.
