2024 Osun Intercollegiate Games Get Committees

The 2024 Osun Intercollegiate Games is set to be a major event and to ensure its success, Ace Sports, in partnership with the Osun Tertiary Institution Games Association (OSTIGA), has formed different committees with specific responsibilities, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

These committees include the Technical Committee, Accreditation Committee, and Venue Committee, and are made up of experienced academics from participating tertiary institutions, sports administrators, and other professionals with expertise in the featured sports.

The Technical Committee is responsible for overseeing various sports such as table tennis, scrabble, chess, athletics, and football. 

The Accreditation Committee is tasked with managing the accreditation process for the event, and the Venue Committee is responsible for coordinating the event venues.

These committees aim to ensure the success of the 2024 Osun Intercollegiate Games through fair play, sportsmanship, genuine representation, welfare of participants, and best sporting practices. 

Ace Sports, Olayiwola Olafiranye, emphasized the importance of these committees in ensuring a memorable and successful event.

The 2024 Osun Intercollegiate Games, which will involve tertiary institutions, including universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and mono-technics in Osun State, is scheduled to commence on November 20, 2024. 

The featured sports will include football, athletics, badminton, table tennis, chess, scrabble, and tug-of-war, and will be hosted across four tertiary institution venues in the state.

The various committees and their respective membership are as follows:
