2024 Paralympic Games: Nigeria Begins Ticket Chase In Italy

Team Nigeria in table tennis Paralympics began their ticket chase for the 2024 Paralympic Games as they take part in ITTF Lignano Masters Para Open in Italy which will serve as a pathway to the event, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

One hundred players across the globe including Nigeria are taking part in the open which served on Wednesday evening and will last for 4 days.

Nigeria's 15-man contingent consists of Commonwealth medalists – Isau Ogunkunle, Nasiru Sule and Faith Obazuaye, Tokyo 2020 Paralympics bronze medalist Tajudeen Agunbiade, Olufemi Alabi, Victor Farinloye, Kayode Alabi, Bolawa Akingbemisilu, Ibrahim Soares, Faith Obiora, Ifechukwude Ikpeoyi, Maimuna Habib, Kehinde Lawal, Ganiyat Shoremekun and Ahmed Koleosho.

They are expected to compete in the singles, team and doubles events.

The players will use the tournament to improve their ranking ahead of the games in Paris.
