2024 Unity Preseason: Sports Minister's Media Aide Named In Committee

Organizers of the Unity Pre-season Tournament have indicated their intention to hold the 2024 edition in Abuja, as it listed an aide of the Sports Minister in its Organizing Committee, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

General Coordinator of the tournament Patrick Ngwaogu (Odogwu), said the date of the tournament which has become the flagship of all Pre-season Tournaments for the teams in the Northern zone of the country will be announced soon. He noted that the tournament has effectively served the interest of participating teams in the past five seasons.

Odogwu, a former Vice Chairman of the FCT Football Association said that teams had in the past used the tournament to prepare effectively for new seasons. 

"We have informed the teams because this edition will be specifically for the NPFL and NNL teams in the region, and the date of the tournament which will serve as a rehearsal for teams for the new season will be announced soon.

The former Abia Warriors FC Sporting Director further announced the appointment of the Media Aide to the Minister of Sports, Kola Daniel into the Organising Committee. 

Daniel will join the duo of Tolulope Oguntimehim and Olaoluwa Aro to deliver the best pre-season tournament this year.
