The second-round opponents of the Nigeria's Super Falcons in the 2024 Women's African Cup of Nations qualifier has been confirmed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Super Falcons reached the second round without kicking a ball after their opponents Sao Tome and Principe withdrew from the qualifier.

The nine-time African champions will confront Cape Verde in the Second Round of the qualifier for a ticket in the African Women's Nations Cup finals.

The Cape Verde women's national team edged out their counterparts from Liberia 6-2 on aggregate to set up a mouth watering clash with Nigeria.
