2025 AFCON: CAF Inspection Team Arrives Benin Republic

The inspection team of Africa's soccer governing body has arrived in Benin Republic to continue their mission to bidding countries, BSNSports.com.ng report.
The experts who make up the delegation will visit the two venues proposed by Benin in its bid to co-organize CAN 2025 with Nigeria.
These are the Charles de Gaulle Stadium in Porto-Novo and the Friendship General Mathieu Kérékou Stadium in Cotonou.
The team which consists of 4 members, Jean Louis Roumain, Didier Levy, Emma Bollet from Cabinet Roland Berger and Timou Havy Mahfouz from the CAF competitions department arrived in Benin on Monday.
They were welcomed on Monday afternoon at the Benin-Nigeria border by a delegation from the Beninese Football Federation (FBF) and the Ministry of Sports. The first stop is the Charles de Gaulle Stadium in Porto-Novo.
They are expected to review the facilities of this enclosure under the guidance of the Beninese delegation.
