2025 AFCON: CAF Inspection Team To Arrive Nigeria March 31

Following the interest of Nigeria and the Benin Republic to co-host the 2025 African Cup of Nations, the inspection team of the African soccer ruling body has revealed the date they will arrive in the country, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Five countries including Nigeria and Benin indicated interest to stage the biennial competition after Guinea, the original host was stripped of the hosting right.

According to the update from the headquarters of the body in Cairo, Egypt March 31st to April 2nd, 2023 has been announced as the date to visit Nigeria and Benin Republic.

The new dates of visitations are as follows:

March 20 - 22 ( Zambia)

March 24- 26 ( Morocco)

March 27- 29 ( Algeria)

March 31st - 2nd April ( Nigeria and Benin)

The new host will be announced in the CAF Congress slated for Cotonou mid-year.
