2025 AFCON: Sadly Nigeria, Rwanda Are In The Same Group Again - Spittler

Amavubi of Rwanda Coach Torten Frank Spittler has admitted that it's sad they are in the same group with Nigeria again, BSÑSports.com.ng reports.

The draws for the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers were held on Thursday and Rwanda fell in the same group with Nigeria and Benin again.

The trio are in the same group for the 2026 World Cup qualifier and Spittler has said it's unfortunate.

" It's actually a little bit sad that we have two teams in the group, Nigeria and Benin with whom we are playing in the same group in the World Cup qualifier, but it's as it is", he said,

The qualifiers are scheduled to kick off in September 2024.
