2025 AFCON: Security Forces Rescue Abducted Media Crew In Anambra

Joint security forces have successfully rescued six members of the media crew who were abducted while travelling from Lagos to Uyo along Isseke-Orlu Road in Ihiala, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga stated this today in a statement in Awka.

According to him, "Operations are still ongoing for the possible rescue of the seventh crew member. Further development shall be communicated, please."

Recall that a Toyota coaster bus conveying Journalists going to Uyo to cover the Super Eagles match was kidnapped today.
