The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially confirmed that the Super Eagles will face Venezuela and Colombia in a pair of international friendlies scheduled to take place in the United States during the FIFA international window in November 2025, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to Jairo Pachón of Eurodata Sport, the NFF’s FIFA match agent, the first fixture will see the three-time African champions take on Venezuela at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Friday, 14th November. Kick-off is set for 8:00 PM local time.

Four days later, on Tuesday, 18th November, the Super Eagles will square off against South American giants Colombia at Citi Field in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York. That match is scheduled for 8:00 PM Eastern Time (1:00 AM, Wednesday, 19th November, Nigerian time).

This tour marks a return to U.S. soil for the Super Eagles, who last played there in the summer of 2022. On that occasion, they narrowly lost 2-1 to Mexico at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, with striker Cyriel Dessers scoring Nigeria’s only goal via a powerful header.

The team later faced Ecuador’s La Tricolor in New Jersey, falling short once again by a single goal.

The November friendlies are expected to serve as key preparation fixtures for upcoming competitive engagements, offering the coaching crew another opportunity to assess players and fine-tune tactics against high-caliber South American opposition.
