Ahead of the final rounds of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier, KRC Genk forward Tolulope Arokodare is not giving up on his invite to the national team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The lanky attacker is one of the most informed Nigerian players in Europe this season, having scored 7 goals in 11 matches for the Limburgers.

" For the national team, I know that I have to play in a major competition in the long term.

" If a Nigerian striker scores 3 times in the Premier League or the Bundesliga, I know I have to score at least 8 times to have a chance of being called up".

" It would be great to wear the shirt of my country if the national coach does not call me up, I still have a club to focus on", he told De Standard.
