2025 AFCON Qualifier: Behave Yourself Or We Leave Like Nigeria - Benin Captain Warns Libya

The captain of the Cheetahs of Benin, Stevie Mounie, has warned Libya to behave well, or they will walk away just like Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The day 4 of the qualifier between Libya and Nigeria did not take place after the Super Eagles walkout from the game due to maltreatment.

CAF went ahead to award Nigeria 3 points and 3 goals and Libya was dumped to the bottom of the group.

Benin will face Libya in the final group game in Tripoli on Monday and the skipper has sent a warning signal to North African country.

" CAF reacted differently with Libya; at least they won't be able to do the same again. Otherwise, they will leave like Nigeria, and we won the match".

Benin needs to avoid defeat to qualify for the competition.
