2025 AFCON Qualifier: Gernot Rohr To Unveil Killer Squad For Super Eagles Next Week

Ahead Of the crucial game against Nigeria's Super Eagles, coach Gernot Rohr has concluded plans to unveil his squad for the African Nations Cup qualifier clash in the coming week, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Super Eagles have a score to settle with the Cheetahs of Benin after losing to them in the match day 4 of the 2026 World Cup qualifier.

Rohr who has formerly coached the Super Eagles on Saturday afternoon announced that the squad for the match Day One and Two of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers will be released.

Since his appointment, the Franco-German gaffer has been able to stabilize the team and they are hoping to stage a return to the biennial competition.

The 3-time African champions will host Benin on the 7th of September at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
