2025 AFCON Qualifier: Libya Set To Appoint New Coach For Super Eagles Tie

The Libya Football Federation is set to name a new coach for the vacant position of the national team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

 The Federation earlier in the week sacked Milutin Sredojevic due to the poor performance of the team in the qualifier of the 2025 African Cup of Nations. According to the update from Tripoli, the Federation has concluded an arrangement to name Herbert Velud as the new coach of the team. The Libyans will face Nigeria's Super Eagles in the day 3 and 4 of the qualifier, Tripoli and Uyo.
