The coach of Benin, Gernot Rohr, has opened up on the reason Nigeria failed to beat Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria suffered a surprise home defeat to the Amavubi of Rwanda in the final game of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Franco-German gaffer, while speaking to Canal Plus, revealed that the Super Eagles have a superiority complex.

" I already expected Nigeria not to play at their best against Rwanda".

" They ( Super Eagles) have a superiority complex".

" Fortunately, we have secured our qualifications with a 3-0 win against Rwanda", he said.
