Nigeria's Super Eagles remained top of the group despite its refusal to play against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Libya versus Nigeria clash was postponed due to the refusal of Super Eagles to play after being maltreated by the Libya Football Federation.

Other group opponents Rwanda faced Benin on Thursday and secured a 2-1 win. The Amavubi came from a goal down to beat the Cheetahs 2-1 in Kigali.

Rwanda's victory means Super Eagles remained top of Group D on 7 points with Benin, Rwanda and Libya in that order.
