2025 AFCON Qualifier: Super Eagles Return To Nigeria In Chartered Flight On Friday

Super Eagles will return back to Uyo, Akwa Ibom state on Friday morning in a chartered flight, a day after their encounter with Benin Republic in Abidjan, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The chartered flight will fly into Abidjan on match day (Thursday) and the following day make its way back home.

The flight would have returned on matchday to Nigeria but for the fact that the airport in Uyo cannot accommodate late night flights.

Super Eagles call-ups for the Benin game will fly directly into Abidjan for the match from their foreign bases.

They battle Benin Thursday in Abidjan before they welcome Rwanda to Uyo four days later to round up their qualifying campaign for the 2025 AFCON.

They top Group D with 10 points from four matches.
