The coach of Benin, Gernot Rohr, has said the result against Nigeria would have been different provided they took their chances, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite scoring first, the Cheetahs were unable to secure the maximum points against the Super Eagles.

The Franco-German gaffer said they were unlucky not to secure the full points from the game. " It was a fair result.

"But we were unlucky because we had the better chances and organization to win the game".

"Nigeria is not a team that is easy to beat, but if we had taken the chances we had with scores at 1-0, maybe the result would have been different ", he said.
