2025 AFCON Qualifier: Why I Invited Remo Stars Goalkeeper -Rohr

The coach of the Cheetahs of Benin, Gernot Rohr, has revealed the reason for inviting Remo Stars goalkeeper Serge Obassa for the qualifier, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Beninoise will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria on day 5 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier, and Obassa is one of the goaltenders invited for the clash.
Rohr said because Obassa is playing in the Nigeria League he has the experience.
" Obassa knows Nigerian football very well since he plays for Remo Stars, which is one of the best clubs in Nigeria at the moment.
“So his experience and know-how can also be useful to us, whether in training or possibly in matches", he said.
