2025 AWVC: Al-Ahly Beat CFC Tunisia, Set Up All Egyptian Final With Zamalek

 Record holders, Al Ahly will meet Zamalek in all Egyptian final on Sunday after beating CFC 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-21) in the semi-final of the 2025 African Women's Volleyball Club Championship on Friday. 

It was a big match up for the defending champions Al-Ahly taking on their rivals, CFC. Al-Ahly took an early lead and dominated for the first set with some strong hitting for a 25-15 win. 

The Egyptian giant came back fighting in the second set and led in the first proceedings. They showed good structured play and defence, eventually outplayed to win the second set 25-23. Ahly show their versatility and blocking strength to keep CFC of Tunisia from gaining any real in the 3rd set.  

Al-Ahly launched a passionate display of tactics. They rallied the crowd and fed off their support. It was 7-7 with CFC cruising for a comeback. The finalist regrouped to avoid a set back and stunned the Tunisians to a 25-21

Momentum was firmly with Al Ahly who went into the Sunday final against Zamalek with full of confidence.
