2025 Afrobasket: D’Tigress Storm Abuja Camp This Weekend

Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, will begin preparations for the 2025 Women’s Afrobasket Championship this weekend in Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to updates from the team’s camp, invited players are expected to start arriving in the Federal Capital over the weekend to kick off training.

To ease their travel, return flight tickets have already been sent to the players by the Nigeria Basketball Federation.

Led by head coach Rena Wakama, D’Tigress will head into the tournament as defending champions, aiming to clinch their fifth consecutive Afrobasket title.
