Nigeria's Junior Tigress suffered a massive blowout as world number 3, Canada thrashed them in a one-sided encounter at the 2025 FIBA U-19 Women’s World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Canadians defeated the Nigeria side 113-42 after they took the first quarter with 17 points, 23-5 and subsequently opened a 42 point gap at the break, 62-16.

The Canadians extended their lead through the sensational, Agot Makeer, who led the charge hitting 8 points in the first quarter and a game high of 18 points by the end of the encounter.

Meanwhile, towards the end of the one-sided encounter, the Canadians had garnered an astronomical 73 point lead until the Junior Tigress pulled a final 2 pointer, to finish the game, 113-42.
