2025 Women’s Afrobasket: D’Tigress Top FIBA Power Rankings

FIBA Africa has unveiled its power rankings for the upcoming 2025 Women’s Afrobasket Championship set to be held in Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com reports.
The power rankings, traditionally released ahead of major basketball tournaments, provide an early projection of team strength and tournament prospects.
As expected, Nigeria’s D’Tigress claimed top spot, followed closely by Mali in second place, while Senegal occupies third.
The reigning champions, who are aiming for a historic fifth consecutive title, will begin their campaign with an opening game against Rwanda.
