2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Super Eagles Camp Opens Ahead Of Lesotho Clash

The camp of the Super Eagles opened on Monday at Ranch Hotel in Polokwane, South Africa ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Crocodiles of Lesotho, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
According to reports, the coaches and backroom staff have arrived while the players are enroute Polokwane via Johannesburg from their different locations.
The players will begin full training session on Tuesday in readiness for the crunch qualifier.
The Matchday 9 encounter is billed for the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa on Friday, 10th October 2025 and will kick off at 6pm South Africa time (5pm Nigeria time).
Nigeria, presently three points off first-placed Benin Republic and second-placed South Africa, are expected to go for an outright win to enhance their chances of reaching the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, to be jointly-hosted by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico next summer.
