Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports
The Club Brugge star picked up the knock during Wednesday night’s thrilling 5-5 draw with Westerlo and was forced off early in the encounter.
The 24-year-old’s setback rules him out of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clashes against Lesotho’s Crocodiles and Benin Republic’s Squirrels next month.
Onyedika has featured eight times in the Belgian league this season and recently found the net in Club Brugge’s emphatic 4-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Monaco.
