2026 World Cup: FIFA Announces Host Cities

Barely 24 hours after the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the World soccer ruling body has announced the list of host Cities for the 2026 edition, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar ended with Argentina winning the title after they edged France 4-2 on penalties.

For the first time in the history of the World Cup, 3 countries Canada, Mexico and the United States will host the tournament in 2026.

The number of the participating teams has also been increased from 32 to 48 .

FIFA listed 17 cities, with United States having 12 Cities, Mexico 5 and Canada 2.
