2026 World Cup: FIFA Name Host Cities

With the 2022 World Cup yet to be played, the World soccer ruling body, FIFA has named cities that will host the 2026 edition of the competition, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.


It is the first time in FIFA history that the World Cup will be played in three different countries which includes the United States, Canada and Mexico.


For the first time, the tournament will have 48 entrants instead of 32, resulting in more host cities than usual.


The US has eleven host cities: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles/SoFi Stadium, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. 


Toronto and Vancouver are the two host cities in Canada, while Mexico hosts the World Cup matches in Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey.
