2026 World Cup Qualifier: It's Blessing We Have Many Quality Players - Iwobi

Fulham FC of England defender Alex Iwobi has tagged it a blessing that Nigeria's Super Eagles have many good players to choose from, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The skillful midfielder made the statement after the team completed their first training on Tuesday evening ahead of the clash against Lesotho.

While speaking to the team media, Iwobi made it clear that he would like to play at the World Cup again.

" I would like to be there again, it's not about me, everyone is ready to qualify and represent the nation.

"Everyone is in camp and we are ready, it's a blessing that we have many players and we are ready to go", he said.

Iwobi who was part of the Super Eagles team at the Russia 2018 World Cup is expected to be in the lineup for the game against Lesotho.
