Real Sociedad striker Sadiq Umar has set his eyes on getting positive results with the Super Eagles in the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers starting this weekend, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nigeria's Super Eagles will kick off their journey to the 2026 World Cup this Thursday with a home game against the Crocodiles of Lesotho before facing Zimbabwe next week.
Sadiq was among the first set of players that arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Monday ahead of the crucial game.
The lanky attacker is already talking tough and further believes that whoever is put on the field will put in their best for the country.
â€Whenever we come here we are always motivated, we want to play for the country.
“We are always happy to represent the country whether you start, had some minutes, or are on the bench we are always ready to represent.
“They should keep supporting us and I hope in the two games we will come out with good results.â€, he told NFF TV.
