2026 World Cup Qualifier: South Africa Releases Provisional List For Super Eagles, Others

In readiness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the head coach of the Bafana Bafana of South Africa Hugo Broos has released the list of 44 players that will prosecute the games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Cameroon coach confirmed that the players that will play the entire qualifiers will come from the 44 selected players.

South Africa is placed in the same group as Nigeria's Super Eagles, Rwanda, Benin, Lesotho, and Zimbabwe.

South Africa will take on Benin at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on the weekend of 17 to 19 November.

They will then travel to Huye to face Rwanda on Tuesday, 21 November. 

The squad is expected to assemble on Monday, 13 November in Pretoria and travel to Durban on 16 October.
