2026 World Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles Camp Opens June 1

The Nigeria's Super Eagles will kick start their preparation for the match day 3 and 4 of the 2026 World Cup qualifier on the 1st of June, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After picking two draws in the last two games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, Super Eagles will face Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Cheetah of Benin in the rounds of games.

The update from Abuja shows that Eagles under the newly appointed coach Finidi George will open camp on the 1st of June in Uyo.

The federation further made it clear that the invited players will be contacted starting from next week.

The game against South Africa is slated for the Godswill Akpabio Stadiun in Uyo while the Benin game will come up in Ivory Coast.
