2026 World Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles To Battle Lesotho, Zimbabwe On 17th, 20th November

The Nigeria's Super Eagles will take on the Crocodiles of Lesotho in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, on Friday, November 17, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The encounter which is expected to be played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo as the Jose Peseiro led side hopes to start the qualifiers on a bright note. 

Three days later, the three African champions will then face off against Zimbabwe on November 20. With the game billed at the Amarhoro Stadium, Kigali.

Benin Republic, managed by former Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Rwanda are the other teams in the group.

The number one team in the group will advance automatically to the 2026 World Cup to be staged by USA, Canada and Mexico.
