2026 World Cup Qualifier: Zimbabwe Prepares To Super Eagles, As CAF Inspection Team Storms Harare

The normalisation committee of the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) is still nursing the ambition of hosting their 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in Harare, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Zimbabwe is one of the countries that did not have any stadium approved by the African soccer governing body.

The football body in the Southern African region is already considering having their games in neighbouring South Africa while the renovation continues in their home ground.

ZIFA last week invited the inspection team of CAF to come for another inspection and the team arrived in Harare to know the level of works being done in the stadium at the capital city.

The Warriors of Zimbabwe will host Nigeria's Super Eagles in their first home game of the qualifier slated for November, 2023.
