By Sampson Adedeji

Despite being down with an injury, the midfielder of the Warriors of Zimbabwe Marshal Munetsi has called for support for the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Munetsi was advised by his club doctors in France to stay away from the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Rwanda and Nigeria due to a facial injury he sustained during the Ligue One game.

The team's technical crew and home-based players arrived in Rwanda on Friday evening and the skilful midfielder is already calling on the fans at home to rally around the team for the matches.

"To the fans, we are playing in Rwanda and they are not able to watch us play live, but we know for sure they will be rallying behind us as always.

We promise to do our best in Rwanda and especially Nigeria", he said.

The Warriors will face the Super Eagles in the match day 2 of the qualifier at the Huye Stadium in Kigali.
