2026 World Cup Qualifier: Zimbabwe Storm Rwanda For Super Eagles

Ahead of the kick-off of the 2026 World Cup qualifier, the Warriors of Zimbabwe have stormed Kigali, Rwanda for their match day 1 and 2, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After returning to international football in September, Zimbabwe are placed in the same group as Rwanda, Benin, Lesotho, South Africa and Nigeria.

They will face Rwanda in the Match-day One at the Huye stadium and remain in the country to face Nigeria's Super Eagles in the match day 2.

Adopted Huye Stadium in Kigali as their home ground after their national stadium in Harare failed to get approval to stage international football.

To adapt and acclimatise themselves to their new home, the technical crew and the invited home-based players departed Harare in the early hours of Friday and arrived in the evening of the same day.

The match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria is fixed for the 21st of November.
