2nd Africa Military Games: Nigeria Wins 36 Medals In Three Sports

Team Nigeria at the ongoing 2024 Africa Military Games has won 36 medals in wrestling taekwondo and handball, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian Armed Forces achieved an impressive haul of 30 medals in wrestling competition consisting of 11 gold 12 silver and 7 bronze.
Team Nigeria showed their strength in taekwondo with four gold medals. The four gold medalists are; Mohammed Yusuf- men's 54kg category, Bisallah Rejoice - women's 46kg, Ibeh Nancy in women's 49kg, and Anam Glory in women's 53kg.
Additionally, Nigeria clinched two gold medals in handball, defeating Ghana in the finals of both the men’s and women’s events.
1,625 athletes from different 21 African countries are taking part in the 2nd edition of the Africa Military Games which commenced on Monday and they are competing for medals in 20 different sporting events.
