3SC Beat Beyond Limits 2-0 To Lift ValueJet Cup

Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan on Thursday defeated Beyond Limits 2-0 to emerge champions of the second edition of ValueJet Cup, BSN sports.com.ng reports.

The two goals were scored in the first half through 3SC captain, Malomo Taofeek and Gali Falke to give the former NPL champions the deserved victory.

Like last season, 3SC were champions of a IMC orgainsed six-team preseason held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos to smile to bank with N100m cash prize.

With the victory on Thursday, Shooting Stars have now dethroned defending champions Remo Stars whom they defeated by three goals to nil in the semi-final.

For further intensive preparations ahead of the new NPL season, Shooting Stars will participate in the 2023 edition of Optima Energy Gold Cup where they are pitched in Group B alongside: Niger Tornadoes, FC Ebedei and Tradessafe FC.
