Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan on Sunday defeated Saki United to emerge champions of 2022 Governor Seyi Makinde Pre-season Cup, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Oluyole Warriors at the Lekan Salami Stadium pipped Saki United 8-7 on penalties after a 0-0 regulation time scoreline.

Just five days after beating Conerstone FC to lift Midtyjland Invitation Football Tournament trophy, 3SC once again proved they're ready for the 2022/23 NPFL Season to win their second trophy within a week.

On their road to final, 3SC humiliated VIA FC 3-0 in the Semifinal.

The 1992 CAF Cup champions will be in Lagos for Tingo-NPFL Preseason tournament where the champions will smile to bank to cash out (N100m) One Hundred million naira. Enyimba International, Bendel Insurance and Rangers International are other three teams that will slug it out in the tournament ahead of the new NPFL season.
