3SC, Tornadoes' Hope of NPFL Action Dashed
....No Relegation, No Promotion In NNL - Club Owners

After a two-day video-conferencing meeting of the Nigeria National League, NNL Club Owners Association (NALCOMA) which started Monday 29, June and ended Tuesday 30, June, 2020, it was resolved that the 2019/20 NNL season has come to an end with no relegation, no promotion, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The agreement put an end to the speculation that Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Crown FC Ogbomoso, Kada City of Kaduna and Niger Tornadoes may gain promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League using the Point Per Game (PPG) to determine the final four group tables.
At the end of the virtual meeting, the club owners also resolved that no club pays for the 2020/21 NNL season's registration fees.

2 .That the 2019/2020 NNL season be cancelled following the effect of Covid-19 and restriction on sporting activities by the Federal government, which does not make the expected resumption of the League feasible.
3 . That none of the 43 (Forty three) clubs in the second tier League would go on relegation or be promoted .This ended the agitation by some leading clubs to be promoted to the Nigeria Professional Football League,NPFL.as majority 13 clubs voted against 12
The meeting had earlier observed a minute silence in honour of its departed chairman Hon. Chidi offor Okenwa.
