3SC Would Have Picked NPFL Ticket If…. Balogun
By Niyi Busari
The General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club Mr. Rasheed Balogun insists that no power can stop 3SC from going back to Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL, if there's headway to continue the league.
Recall that NNL proceeded on a sudden break in December 22nd 2019 and was later postponed indefinitely in January with reasons centered around funds and other logistics.
The Oluyole Warriors have twice gave a shot to the promotion ticket but all to no avail and their recent push to claim the slot was unsuccessful following their humiliation in the hands of Akwa Starlets.
The experienced Football administrator who started and excelled at Stationary Stores FC of Lagos, later performed creditably well with Julius Berger FC of Lagos eulogized Oyo state governor for keeping faith in him having resigned his appointment with the team at the end of last season.
"Governor Seyi Makinde said l will back you up, just give me the promotion ticket.
"GSM is a die hard supporter of 3SC, l pray l justify the faith he had in me. We know the ticket is never a big deal more so now that he's supporting us with necessary backing.
"The number 1 citizen of Oyo state is a man of his own words and we derived motivation in his words, we played 5 matches, won four and drew one, in fact if the game continues, there's no body to beat us into first position, that l can say with my mouth wide open," Ekulekule as he's called is a disciplinarian who also worked with Sunshine Stars of Akure told Family United By Football FUBF a top Soccer Platform on Sunday evening.
