40 Teams Jostle For Honour In Propella '3x3' Basketball Championship

Not fewer than 40 teams will contest for honour in Ibadan in a two-day Propella '3x3'Basketball Championship.

This is revealed in a press statement signed by, Director Media and Communication Oyo State Sports Council, Tunde Ajibike made available to BSN Sports.

 It reads, "The Basketball players across the states of the federation are expected to converge at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan for the next edition of Propella "3 x 3" organized by the Propella foundation. It is scheduled to hold on December 16 and 17, 2022.

"The Convener of the basketball tournament Mr 'Tunde Popoola made this disclosure today at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

 "He stated further that over 40 teams are expected to participate in this annual tournament that started four years ago.

 "The tournament will attract accomplished basketball players in Nigeria and diaspora, ex-champions of high repute and individuals that are passionate and keenly interested in basketball.

 "Some of them have participated in the previous edition of the competition in the last four years.

  "The open competition will require registration of basketballers at the multipurpose gymnasium hall at the Oyo State Sports Council, Ibadan. The registration is scheduled to terminate on December 6, 2022."
