FCT Tops, Sets Pace For Others As 23 States Missing on Medals Table

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as at Day 5 of the 2019 National Youth Games is leading the medals table with four gold and one silver medals.

FCT on Tuesday clinched 4 Gold medals 1 Silver in gymnastics at the ongoing NYG Ilorin 2019.

The five medals were won by Munachim Obiefuna who got Gold in beam, Floor and Team performance at the Girls category, and a Silver in Vault.

Meanwhile, Ekiti, Ogun, Lagos and Edo make the top five. Ekiti state are in 2nd position with two gold and two silver, Ogun garnered two gold, one silver and one bronze while Lagos have one gold 5 silver.

23 states are yet to win medals as at Day 5 at the ongoing 2019 National Youth Games in Ilorin
