Team Nigeria in athletics continues to show their strength in the ongoing 2022 African Athletics Championship in Mauritius as they added another Gold medal, BSNsports.com.ng understand

Nigeria ended in the third position on the table despite winning 4th gold on Saturday through Oladuntoye in the Hammer throw.

US based Chukwuebuka Enekwechi was the star performer on Sunday as clinched the 5th gold medal for Nigeria.

Enekwechi in Shot Put threw a season-best record of 21.20m and erased his previous record of 21.08m he set in Asaba Nigeria.

The performance of Team Nigeria in Athletics continues to threaten the top two countries as the events progress.
