AC Milan Promotes Nigerian-Born Talent Omoregbe To First Team

Italian Serie A club AC Milan has promoted 20-year-old Bob Murphy Omoregbe, a Nigerian descent born in Italy, to the first team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The move comes after Milan needed to fill the vacancy left by forward Noah Okafor, who joined German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

Okafor departed Milan after struggling to secure regular playing time following his transfer from Austrian club RB Salzburg.

Milan's head coach, Sergio Conceição, confirmed Omoregbe's promotion to the first team on Saturday.

The young forward has been assigned the jersey number 77 and is expected to make his debut in the upcoming match against Cagliari this weekend.
