AC Milan are preparing to offer Fikayo Tomori a new deal as a reward for his fantastic season en-route to winning the Scudetto, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Tomori has become an immovable member of the starting XI under Stefano Pioli and made more appearances then any other outfield player for the Rossoneri as they won a 19th league title, sealing it with a 3-0 victory against Sassuolo last night that was a 9th clean sheet in 11 games.
It was reported that Milan are keen to reward Tomori for his status as one of the best defender’s in Serie A by offering him an extended deal that will most likely involve a pay rise.
The Englishman is hoping for an England recall when Gareth Southgate names his squad for the Nations League games tomorrow, and the 24-year-old should absolutely be in the squad based on his form.
The report adds that the Milan management ‘have been so impressed’ by Tomori who can ‘now speak fluent Italian’, and they want to ‘make him a pillar of their squad’ moving forwards.
