AFCON 2023: CAF President To Arrive In Cote d'Ivoire In November

The African soccer governing body (CAF) continues to place the host of the 2023 African Cup of Nations Cote d'Ivoire under watch to make sure they are ready for the event, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The initial host for the 2025 edition of AFCON, Guinea was stripped of the hosting right after it was discovered that they are not ready to stage the competition.

According to the update from Cairo, Egypt, President Patrice Motsepe will arrive in Cote d'Ivoire on the 11th of November, 2022 to sign the country's agreement to host the competition.

The competition was initially scheduled to take place in the summer of 2023 but has been shifted to January/ February 2024 due to the weather condition of the West African country.
