AFCON 2023: Super Eagles To Know Foes In April

Competitive football will soon return to the continent of Africa as the African soccer governing body set to conduct the draw for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, BSNsports.com.ng understand


It was the end of an era after the conclusion of the Qatar 2022 World Cup in which 5 countries qualified to represent the continent in the tournament.


Following the completion of the preliminary rounds, CAF has concluded a plan to have draws conducted for the qualified 48 teams.


The teams will be put in 12 groups of 4 teams with the top 2 teams qualified for the biennial competition.


The reports further suggest that the draw is slated to take place by the end of April 2022 with the date of the competition remaining in the summer of 2023 in Ivory Coast.
